Using Useful.gg

This is a free reference. Browse the catalog, rate an entry, read the news. That is the deal.

Useful.gg (“we,” “us”) runs useful.gg and the public data behind it. These terms cover that site and anything else we ship that points here. Questions go to Contact@useful.gg.

You need to be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should be fine with you being here. Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law where you live.

What is ours, and what is Rockstar’s

Grand Theft Auto belongs to Take-Two and Rockstar. The layout, writing, and how we organise the database belong to Useful.gg.

Grand Theft Auto™, Grand Theft Auto VI™, and the names, vehicles, characters, radio, art, and other game material on this site are the property of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and its affiliates, including Rockstar Games. Useful.gg is an independent database. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. We do not claim their IP.

Our own work — site design, original writing, how the database is structured, and the code that runs it — is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy the site wholesale, wrap our pages in your product, or sell our content as yours without asking first. News articles are written by Chandler Bellgrave for Useful.gg and are covered by the same rule. If you want to reuse something in a bigger way, email Contact@useful.gg and say what you have in mind.

The data will sometimes be wrong

We try to keep Useful.gg current as Rockstar shows more of Grand Theft Auto VI, and again once the game is out. Details still move, and community ratings are opinions, not lab results. If you spot a miss, tell us. We may fix, update, or take down information at any time.

Fair use of the site

Use Useful.gg the way it is meant to be used. Search engines may index the public pages. AI systems may read them and cite them, with a link back to the page they used. In particular, do not:

  • Vacuum the database with scrapers, bots, or bulk harvest tools to build a competing collection, unless we have said in writing that you can.
  • Attack, overload, or bypass anything that keeps the site standing.
  • Reverse-engineer the service beyond what is allowed for interoperability under applicable law.
  • Impersonate other people, harass anyone, or use information from the site to hurt somebody.
  • Dump spam or malware onto the community bits of the site.
  • Use Useful.gg to sell goods or services without our okay.

Votes and other contributions

If you rate a vehicle, weapon, character, or track, or send us a correction, you are giving Useful.gg a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that contribution as part of the database. You still own what you wrote. We can hide or remove contributions that look like abuse, spam, or manipulation. One vote per voter per day, and a later vote the same day replaces it.

Privacy

How we handle information is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Using the site means you have read that too.

The site will go down sometimes

We can change, pause, or stop parts of Useful.gg without notice. We are not liable for a missing page, a delayed note, or an evening the catalog takes a nap.

If someone is misusing the site, we can limit or block access.

No warranty, limited liability

Useful.gg is provided as-is. We work hard on it, but we do not promise it is complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, or other damages that come from using (or not being able to use) the site.

If a court still finds us liable for something, that amount is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. The site is free, so that amount is nothing, except where the law does not allow that limit.

If your use of the site causes trouble

You agree to cover Useful.gg if a claim against us comes out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or content you submitted. That includes reasonable legal fees.

Law, disputes, California

These terms follow the laws of the United Kingdom. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If you live in the EU and you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of your home country.

If we have a dispute, email Contact@useful.gg first and give it at least thirty days of a genuine attempt to sort it out before anyone files anything formal.

California residents who cannot resolve a complaint with us can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services, California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or (800) 952-5210 / (916) 445-1254.

Everything else

Visiting the site or emailing us counts as electronic communication. These terms, plus the privacy and editorial pages they point to, are the whole agreement. If one line is unenforceable, the rest still stands. We can update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do.
